THC and CBD are a ratio, not a rivalry

By Leaf Finder, from Deep Roots Wellness · Updated October 12, 2026

THC gets the headlines, but the relationship between THC and CBD shapes the character of a session more than either number alone.

CBD doesn't simply 'cancel out' THC — it rounds off the edges, softening the intensity and anxious edge some people get from high-THC products. Balanced ratios (1:1) are a common home base for wellness-oriented use: present effects with a wider comfort margin. High-CBD, low-THC products suit daytime and functional goals.

High-THC products aren't 'better' — they're just stronger, with a narrower window between the effect you want and more than you wanted. Match the ratio to the intention, and revisit your check-in data to see which ratios actually served your goals.
